100Hires Add candidates menu with the Chrome extension option for one-click sourcing

The 100Hires Chrome extension for recruiters adds candidates to your ATS in one click, from a LinkedIn profile, a Gmail thread, a GitHub page, or any supported site. No retyping names, no copy-pasting links between browser tabs.

Open a profile, click the icon, pick the job. The candidate lands in your pipeline with their name, title, location, and work history already filled in.

Manual data entry and switching between separate tools slow sourcing down. The extension reduces that to a single click, and it works inside the 100Hires recruiting software you already use to hire.

How the 100Hires Chrome extension works

Three steps, a few seconds per candidate. The same flow works across every supported site.

  1. Open a profile or a Gmail thread on any of the supported sites.
  2. Click the 100Hires icon. The extension reads the page and fills in the candidate's details for you.
  3. Pick the job and pipeline stage. The candidate is in your ATS, tagged with their source and checked against your existing database.

The extension works best on profile and email pages where candidate details are visible. On pages with limited public information, you may still adjust a field or two before saving.

Add a candidate in one click, without making a duplicate

Open any profile, click the 100Hires icon, and the candidate name, job title, location, work history, and profile URL are added to your account automatically. Before it saves, the extension checks your database and flags anyone who already exists, with the job and stage they are in, so two recruiters never work the same person by accident. If an email or phone number is visible on the page, it is captured too, though the extension does not find hidden personal emails.

  • One-click capture from any profile
  • Auto-filled candidate fields
  • Duplicate check shows the existing job and stage
  • Works on 14 sites including LinkedIn and Gmail
100Hires source breakdown report showing candidates by sourcing channel

See which sourcing effort actually fills your pipeline

Pick the job and stage as you capture, so no candidate sits in an unassigned queue. Each one is tagged as sourced through the extension, so your source breakdown report shows which channels and recruiters are bringing in your candidates. In Gmail the extension also recognizes a candidate from an email thread and reads their signature.

  • Assign job and stage on capture
  • Automatic source tag for every capture
  • Source breakdown report by channel and recruiter

100Hires Chrome extension vs a typical ATS

The extension gets candidates into 100Hires; the ATS handles the next steps. Once a candidate is in, your recruitment automation can take them from screening to scheduling in the same tool.

Frequently asked questions
+ What is the 100Hires Chrome extension for recruiters?
It is a free browser extension that pulls a candidate profile from the page you are viewing, a LinkedIn page or an email, straight into your 100Hires account. Instead of retyping or copy-pasting into the ATS, you capture the person where you found them and assign them to a job.
+ Which sites does the extension work on?
The 100Hires extension works on fourteen sites: LinkedIn, Gmail, Indeed, GitHub, AngelList, Dribbble, Behance, Stack Overflow, Medium, Facebook, Twitter, Meetup, Upwork, and Xing. One extension covers all of them, so you do not need a separate tool per channel.
+ Does the Chrome extension find personal emails?
It captures an email if one is shown on the page, but that is uncommon, since most profiles do not display a personal email. The extension does not actively look for hidden emails. Finding those is a separate 100Hires Pro enrichment step, covered in our candidate sourcing workflow at https://100hires.com/candidate-sourcing.html.
+ Is the 100Hires Chrome extension free?
Yes, the extension is free to install from the Chrome Web Store and works with your 100Hires account. Paid 100Hires plans cover the full hiring workflow once your candidates are in. You can compare plans at https://100hires.com/pricing.
+ How is it different from other recruiting Chrome extensions?
Most recruiting extensions are single-purpose point tools that find a contact or parse a profile and drop the result into a spreadsheet or a contact card. The 100Hires extension drops the candidate straight into your hiring pipeline, assigned to a job, checked for duplicates, and tagged with the source it came from. It is part of your ATS, not a standalone data-collection tool.
+ How does it prevent duplicate candidates?
Before it adds anyone, the 100Hires extension checks your database and shows whether the person already exists, which job they are in, and what stage. You can update the existing record instead of creating a second one, so two recruiters never work the same candidate by accident.
+ Does it work in Microsoft Edge or other browsers?
The extension is built and supported for Google Chrome and installs from the Chrome Web Store. Some Chromium-based browsers can also install Chrome Web Store extensions, but 100Hires recommends Chrome for the smoothest experience.
+ How do I install it and can my whole team use it?
Open the Chrome Web Store listing, click Add to Chrome, pin the icon, and sign in with your 100Hires account. Each recruiter installs it on their own browser, and every capture is tagged to the person who sourced it, so your source reports stay accurate across the team.
