The Housekeeping Supervisor monitors the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department to assure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Assists in room readiness for all resident move-ins and responds to resident concerns as they relate to room conditions.
The Housekeeping Supervisor must follow specific directions and schedules. Cleaning chemicals are potentially dangerous, and housekeepers must handle them properly to avoid injury. They must be thorough in their work and pay attention to details. Under supervision, cleans, polishes and sanitizes public, common and bathroom areas as well as offices; cleans resident’s apartments on a weekly basis or as needed, while interacting in a friendly and courteous manner, to ensure resident and family member satisfaction.
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be part of the leadership team in charge of the staff and operations of the Housekeeping department and seek solutions and results that create a high-performing, safety-conscious work environment.
