The Medical Office Specialist is responsible for daily operations of front office functions including but not limited to: training and orienting new staff, meeting and greeting patients, registration, scheduling of appointments, insurance verification, entering patient charges, collection of payments, screens and directs telephone calls. Serves as a resource person for Electronic Health Records and Practice Management systems. Assists in the delivery of timely, accurate, and quality healthcare.
