The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible and accountable for performing direct and indirect patient care according to standards set for quality and compassionate patient care and those duties. Responsible for charting all pertinent information concisely on patient records in a timely and legible manner. Appropriately and professionally communicates between staff members, management, and physicians.
The LPN functions as an integral part of the nursing team. All tasks must be performed in compliance with established policies and procedures of the hospital and supervised by the Registered Nurse and/or the Nurse Manager, and/or the Director of Nursing.
