Plans, develops, organizes, evaluates and implements the Healthcare Center's programs and activities serving the residents. Manages subordinate supervisors, as well as additional employees and volunteers in the Healthcare Center.
Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal standards and regulations for employees, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
Works collaboratively with the community's other department managers to ensure that the residents are receiving the best possible care at all times.
Assists with the budget development and adherence, as well as accurate forecasting of expenses and cost control. Ensures that adequate financial records and reports are prepared and submitted to administration as required.
Ensures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional and auxiliary personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation for the Health Center.

To access/utilize central administration resources (i.e., HR, accounting, information systems, engineering, marketing, volunteers, admissions, development), and to periodically assist the CEO in evaluating the effectiveness of these resources.

Bachelor’s Degree
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience (health services management and/or resident services management)
Must have working knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations (including those associated with Medicare reimbursement), nursing practices and procedures, and all laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care administration.
Must be able to read and interpret financial records and reports.
