We are seeking an Editorial Assistant to join its team. The assistant's role would be to provide administrative and editorial support to Company’s SVP, Publisher and Senior Editor on an impressive list of books in fiction, nonfiction, and graphics. We are looking for a detail-oriented, meticulous self-starter who is invested in learning about the publishing industry and being part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a diverse set of responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Daily responsibilities include all-around project support for the publisher and senior editor, proposal/manuscript reading, drafting cover copy, brainstorming creative publishing approaches and supporting authors/books through the entire publication process.
