The Technical Analyst implements and supports facility and division desktop equipment, and is the key technical resource responding to end user desktop incidents and requests reported to the Service Desk. Problems beyond the scope of their ability or responsibility are communicated in a timely manner to senior-level support personnel. Support to other division and facility IT personnel is provided as warranted, and participation in 24x7 on-call support is provided based on division IT staff rotation.

The Technical Analyst has responsibility for the execution of plant- and lab-based quality checks, including the organization and analysis of data. Such checks include chemical, biological, and process data (it does not include sensory data, which is the responsibility of the Head Blender & Sensory Analyst). The Technical Analysis will be responsible for ensuring existing methods are consistent and that equipment is calibrated. For those quality checks that are not executed by the Technical Analyst (e.g., are executed by a Lab Technician or a Distiller), it will still be their responsibity to ensure that correct methods are followed and that equipment is calibrated. The Technical Analyst has responsibility for weekly, monthly, and yearly Quality reports. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing new plant- and lab-based methodologies that will lead to an improvement in the quality and consistency of our products. Further, they will be responsible for the development and implementation of analytical chemistry methodologies, so that we can better track chemical markers associated with negative/positive flavors and legal regulations.

The Technical Analyst will work closely with the business and clinical clients and Company application teams to manage application enhancements and on-boarding new clients. The Technical Analyst will have project management, feature design, quality assurance/testing, support and training responsibilities. The role will be a combination of business analysis, functional design, application support, client training, and implementation management. The Technical Analyst is responsible for analyzing national clinical registry data specifications, defining and documenting design functionality, and configuring features within Company’s software products.
