The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, administration and compliance of employee benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, COBRA, flexible spending, Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Health Savings Account (HSA), life insurance, retirement plans, absence management (FMLA/OFLA), wellness, etc.). Maintains advanced knowledge of benefit programs and recommends program changes and general policy and procedure changes as needed. Gives advanced technical assistance to stakeholders.
