As a member of the administrative team you will be responsible for maintaining calendars, setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, tracking expenses and coordinating building and equipment requests.
The Senior Adminstrative Assistant will provide complex, executive level administrative support to the Managing Director of Company’s Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizes business. This role is responsible for providing the appropriate first impression and representation of the Managing Director. Additional responsibilities of this role include the handling of confidential material and coordination of day-to-day workflow, including complex calendar management, global travel coordination, expense reporting and email review and organization. This role is also responsible for the supervision, coaching and development of the administrative staff.
The ideal candidate for this role must be an accomplished administrative assistant with proven experience supporting high-level executives, as well as a highly organized, proactive, flexible, self-starter with strong initiative, who possess strong follow through skills and shows interest and ability to improve processes and apply new technologies. This person will add value as a member of the team through strong administrative, organizational, technical and communication skills and will be an integral member of the business.

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides professional support to the Administrative Staff and Operations Director where and when needed. Is responsible for providing back-up support for the Receptionist, Admin Support Supervisor, and Finance/HR Asst. when needed.
The Senior Administrative Assistant assists the Chair and the Program Directors by providing all of the unit’s administrative functions. The position involves monitoring the Collaborative budget, preparing teaching schedules for the programs, assembling materials for the hiring and review of all levels of faculty, part-time, and student employees, supporting student recruitment and retention activities, carrying out event and programming logistics, providing information for faculty on relevant University policies and procedures, and ensuring the main office is well-maintained and functional for optimal Collaborative and program performance.
Under general supervision, the Senior Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of paraprofessional administrative/secretarial duties of a confidential nature for a Department Director; ensures flow of accurate information in a timely efficient manner; and performs related duties as assigned.
The Senior Administrative Assistant will answer phones, greet clients, and provide a broad range of administrative duties. As part of the team, this individual will prepare, review, proof, brand, format, foot and tie client deliverables for all Assurance service line engagements and some Consulting service line engagements.
The Senior Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation. Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget. Requires a high school diploma with 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision.
In the Senior Administrative Assistant, you'll ensure that the consultants we support have what they need to seamlessly serve the needs of our clients. This position involves booking (and unbooking) travel, scheduling (and rescheduling) meetings, keeping track of time and expenses, supporting the case team process, and generally keeping up with the fast pace of our Consulting Team.
While the consultants spend most of their time at the client site, back here at home base (aka the Austin office) you will be surrounded by an Administrative Team that consists of a group of really smart, team-oriented people.
