The Behavior Techinician provides clerical support to the Behaviorist. The Behaviorist Techinician will work closely with the Behaviorist to ensure behavior documentation is accurately completed, filed and available for presentation to various DDS committees as indicated. The Behavior Techinician will present to committees as requested by the Behaviorist.

The Behavior Technician works as part of a treatment team at the Treatment and Learning Center (TLC) for Children which encompasses the Comprehensive Program, Focus Program, and Autism Outreach. The Behavior Technician may be provided with daily coaching by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), Lead registered behavior technicians (RBTs)-also referred to as the leadership team. Additionally, feedback may be provided by Senior RBTs and RBTs. The Behavior Technician is charged with implementing individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs and treatment plans for children with social, communicative, academic, adaptive and behavioral challenges.
