We are seeking a Cancer Registrar to receive & review cancer incidence data submitted to the Cancer Incidence Surveillance System. The candidate will perform quality assurance validation, contact cancer reporters, evaluates reported treatment for the types of cancer/tumors, stage of disease, sex, and age of patients. The ideal candidate has cancer registrar experience working with accredited hospitals and cancer registries, experience working as a cancer registry education and training coordinator and experience as a cancer registry quality assurance coordinator. Must have electronic health record experience with strong communication and organizational skills. This position will require collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (physicians & hospitals).
