An Appointment Setter performs the primary role in creating leads for Agents and General Managers. They are constantly engaged to support the sales function of the Company (Corp) making first contact with prospective customers or clients. Part of the job is to also function as telemarketers by scheduling and closing the appointment day and time over the phone. Appointment Setters work in call center environments, on an hourly basis, in a non-exempt status.
