Job summary 2

Under general supervision, the Academic Advisor provides academic advisement services to students in the College. The incumbent provides individual and group academic advisement to new, continuing, and readmitted students, explains university degree requirements, academic policies, procedures, and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities 2

Assists students with educational planning, course selection, graduation applications, and other advisement related issues.
- Serves in various campus/department committees and provides additional holistic support services to EOP students and participates in EOP admissions.
- Works closely with the Department Chair regarding student inquiries and issues, substitutions, curriculum updates.
