Under the written referral of a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, dentist, osteopath, and in concert with other members of the hospital staff, the Speech Therapist is responsible for the provision and direction of patient care services including evaluation, treatment, counseling, and education to inpatients and outpatients in the rehabilitation setting.
