As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for sourcing qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. Additionally, you will be required to stay abreast of subcontractors’ day-to-day activities and ensure that their work meets Company’s expectations for quality and timeliness. You will work with our sales staff to coordinate the projects and our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don’t slow down construction. General experience in concrete, plumbing, electrical, and wood frame construction is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the construction of modern hog barns. Source experienced and professional contractors and sub-contractors for hog barn construction
Personally monitor production of assigned jobs

Assist with on-site, hands-on construction tasks including, but not limited to, demolition, site prep, framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, roofing, finish carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
Utilize volunteer management techniques to facilitate positive experiences for volunteers.
Maintain site safety through modeling of safety practices and guidelines, volunteer education, and site monitoring. Attend safety training with our construction staff.

Develop a project schedule, communicating closely with subcontractor’s Project Managers, Site Supervisors/or Foreman to schedule their crews appropriately to maintain project timelines and due dates.
Develop project plans and communicate with subcontractor’s supervisors and/or foreman to make sure they fully understand and comply with contract requirements and direct their crews appropriately.
Coordinate all subcontractor activities to be performed onsite and ensure subcontractors maintain clean work environments to customer satisfaction.
- Develop safety requirements and training plans to direct subcontractor supervisors and foreman who oversee workers on site to ensure EM-385 safety requirements are followed by each crew and are appropriately directed by their onsite supervisor/lead/or foreman.
- Maintain Safety through onsite inspections of equipment and onsite work activity. Communicate with the subcontractor’s supervisor/foreman to address any deficiencies.
- Maintain construction, safety, and quality reports as required and upload data into customer’s reporting systems as required.
