Job summary 1
Phlebotomy Technician will be utilized in the following settings: out-patient, in-patient and outreach (i.e. nursing homes,assisted living and hospital organized outreach opportunities) and on-call. Performs all aspects of phlebotomy functions and specimen collections to include venous and capillary collections and glucose testing, while following the proper standards and practices. Verifies patient insurance and performs basic data entry to register and accession in and out-patient orders.
