The Museum seek a pro-active, creative, self-starting Curator. The Curator is responsible for managing operations at the site within the museum system. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing programming including but not limited to group and school tours, living history, special events, property rentals, and public outreach. They will develop inclusive, educational programs to engage a diverse range of museum visitors. The incumbent is responsible for the preservation and maintenance of historic structures and landscaping at the historic sites. Additionally, they prepare and implement annual goals and objectives as well as long-range plans. The Curator manages a large team of both full time and seasonal employees, in addition to numerous volunteers. This position reports to the Museums Manager.
