The Floor Manager will support the Program Manager in ensuring that our facility is clean, functioning, and operating according to DHS 83 standards. This position will also serve as the lead staff when the Program Manager is unavailable or not present.

Duties & Responsibilities 2

Ensure all daily needs of our individuals are being met by direct support professionals.
Assist the Program Manager in providing daily floor/program supervision for all individuals we serve.
Perform daily checks of all individuals’ living spaces and common areas for cleanliness and adherence to DHS 83 guidelines.
Facilitate daily shift exchange meetings at the end/ beginning of each scheduled shift.
Provide coverage for Direct Service Professionals during absences, breaks, and unforeseen circumstances.
- Manage daily schedule for physician appointments, meetings, and other scheduled appointments.
- Submit daily shift reports to the Program Manager regarding daily activities, serious incidents, and all DHS 83 behavioral reporting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
6 months to 1 year supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated leadership ability: the ability to integrate the vision of the organization with all support services and personnel.
Demonstrated leadership in maintaining high standards of professional behavior for self and staff.
- Demonstrated cultural competency and a commitment to diversity management.
- Complete all required training identified in the subsidiary’s specific training curriculum before the start date in the program and within six months according to Broadstep’s training policies. Also, must complete all components of the On-the-Job (“OJT”) Training/Onboarding Experience and yearly Continuing Education (“CE”) courses based on program/licensing/contractual requirements.
- Provide and ensure complete service delivery healthily and safely that supports Broadstep’s vision, mission, and values.
