The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all trades and effectively managing daily on site activities. This role possesses the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and homebuyers while successfully directing the sub-contractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.
The Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure safe, timely, quality completion of project. May be solely responsible for a segment of project and/or have Engineers/Interns reporting to them.
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on residential buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent. Key responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring construction progress and maintaining schedules and quality assurance programs.
The Assistant Superintendent serves as a district leader responsible for the development and implementation of academic programs in order to fulfill the educational needs of all students as well as contribute to individuals’ growth and development; supervise and evaluate staff; provide oversight in curriculum, assessment, & instruction; coordinate K-12 staff development programming; and tend to financial and operational aspects of K-12 educational programs.
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for providing various support functions for operational activities. This role will assist in the development and maintenance of the facility as directed by the Superintendent and Location Manager. This person must work and communicate effectively with the Superintendent to help assure the facility is in a constant state of preparedness to meet schedules and take advantage of opportunities that arise. This includes assisting with inventory control, operational cost control and logistics, mix & blend including grain conditioning and space allocation, preventative maintenance, talent management including production planning, energy conservation, and asset security.
