Job summary 1

We are looking for an experienced Receiving Clerk to receive, sort, inspect and process returned equipment for credit or exchange. This position will also inspect our shipments from vendors for accuracy, shelve items, & sign for all deliveries. The Receiving Clerk must have a exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, strong computer skills, and basic math skills. They must also be able to unload shipments with or without accommodation as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

The Receiving Clerk reports to and collaborates with the Receiving Team Leader. Primarily responsible for coordinating produce receiving activities for incoming shipments with a smooth flow of raw materials to the production lines. The qualified candidate will maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments and complete required shipment verification. Other duties include, assistance with overseeing the processing, storage, use and documentation of supplies, materials, and equipment. Assistance with making arrangements to complete project work, periodic and daily routines to support the production and receiving requirements. Documentation of work procedures. Assist shift team leaders in preparing work schedules and expediting workflow.

The basic Receiving Clerk functions are to provide coordination in either or all of the Shipping, Receiving, Stocking and Line Support material movements required to support an efficient production operation. This person will handle multiple elements of receiving and shipment processes, including order entry, quality accountabilities, staging, materials movement functions (assembly line supply, shop movements, dock flow), perform check-in and data-entry functions on incoming materials as well as manage outgoing small package and backhaul processes.
