Repair, replace and install sensors, actuators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, electric eyes, conduit systems, switches, defective writing, etc.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace PLC’s, Servo and Frequency Drives and related electronic hardware
Disassembles, inspects, reassembles, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces malfunctioning parts or equipment (motors, switches, sensors, input /output boards, controllers servos, gears, sprockets chains, knives, etc. using test equipment
Use blue prints and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations
Make proper use of tools such as hacksaws, pipe benders, pipe threaders, hammers and screw drivers, splice wires and install conduit, panel boards, switch boxes, motors and drives and other electrical equipment
May test or recommend new equipment in the electronic field, staying well-informed of latest state of the art technology
Cleans, lubricates and adjusts guides, flap tuckers, sealing jaws, sensors, servos, and timing for process systems of packaging equipment to improve efficiency, quality, or operation
Performs routine preventive maintenance procedures as per schedule
Installs change parts (pockets, flap tuckers, film folding shoulders etc.) on our production machinery
Provide technical expertise to train and support production and create an environment of continuous learning
Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of work area and equipment

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Proficiency in electrical skills: PLC programing, electrical circuits, schematics, servo motors, and familiarity with 460/220 3 PH wiring.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine repots and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.

Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains high-speed, industrial process equipment for can and/or end making, power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls for all production process and control equipment. This includes: all electrical power (24 to 600 volts), automation controllers, VFDs, transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices.
Identifies and designs process improvements for inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinates through supervisor to implement.
