The Athletic Director is responsible for the overall administration of sports information, communication and promotion for University’s Athletic Department, including all varsity and junior varsity programs.

Serve as the statistician for all sports. Compile statistics for all in-season sports following events. Release statistics on weekly basis and as requested by coaches.
Hire and supervise staff to provide game management for volleyball, soccer, basketball, football, swimming, lacrosse, golf, wrestling, track & field, baseball, and softball. Supervise game staff (scorekeeper, scoreboard operator, shot clock operator, announcer, computer statistician, video board production). Provide adequate training for game management staff in both equipment operation and use of statistical software.
- Provide content for Web site and social media sites. Update sites with game recap and statistics after every home event. Develop relationship with the Marketing and Communications office and work with them in keeping sites in line with University policy and style.
- Publish media guide for football and game day programs for other varsity sports as appropriate. Aid with individual teams in producing publications, such as camp brochures and newsletters. Help to coordinate and publish seasonal sports schedules and postcards for booster club events.
- Responsible for the compilation and publishing of Athletic Department fact sheets.
