The Associate Pastor will execute the vision cast by the Board of Elders under the supervision of the Senior Pastor by focusing primarily on leading the pastoral staff through their day-to-day ministry responsibilities, ensuring all church ministries are aligned around the church’s vision and goals. In this position, you will fulfill the Primary Responsibilities under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Pastor and work closely with the Board of Elders, and Core Leadership Team, which includes church staff and lay ministry leaders. We envision the ideal candidate to be a strategic thinker who is highly collaborative and promotes teamwork and unity within our leadership team and our body.

Reporting to Sr. Pastor, the Associate Pastor is responsible for providing pastoral care to the ill, the bereaved, the suffering, the confused, and the anxious members of this church along with their families and friends. Further, he/she will work with those committed to saturating this church in prayer, providing opportunities to cultivate and experience the power of prayer. Finally, he/she will work proactively to prepare our covenant partners for their future life challenges and to equip them to care well for others. The person in this role functions as an administrator, organizer, encourager, and equipper for the ministries that provide pastoral care including Deacons, Prayer, Coalition of Counselors, and other groups of lay volunteers who visit and serve our congregation.
