Job summary 1

The Safety Engineer leads and manages Safety and Health for identified client groups. Ensures that client group needs are met in the areas of policy/program/procedure implementation, interpretation, and maintenance; safety and health regulation compliance; industrial hygiene; emergency preparation and response; safety inspections; hazard assessment and evaluation, incident investigation and follow-up; accident prevention efforts; and advice and consultation on safety and health matters. Provides backup support and assistance to other members of the Safety Department in meeting the safety and health needs of the Plant.
