We're looking for a Lead Engineer. The right candidate will partner with Category Leads to manage the structural packaging design as projects move through the development process. This role requires a high degree of resourcefulness, problem-solving ability, and entrepreneurial determination. They should have a deep understanding of packaging design, supplier capabilities, and restaurant operations. They will manage the day-to-day development of packaging solutions that meet the strategic requirements of the business and or projects. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing large-scale projects from start to finish. It includes coordinating with cross-functional partners, as part of a project team. Developing and maintaining timelines and project management tools, as well as managing to process phases. This often includes partnering with our Menu team to ensure that packaging solutions represent the brand, honor our menu, and meet our sustainability goals, and overall packaging system requirements. This person will spend time developing Operator relationships and spending time in stores to evaluate opportunities and facilitate testing.
