Work involves reviewing and investigating licensee or applicant records for accuracy and completeness and determining compliance with the state Insurance Code, state Administrative Code, and adopted rules. Primary work involves fielding calls from agents, companies, third- party licensing entities, internal agency inquiries, and the general public, covering multiple licensure types or lines of authority. Other duties as assigned include dissemination of licensee information both verbally and in written form. Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
