The Environmental Engineer will work as part of a team to provide complete environmental services for the facilities. Under the direction of the Environmental Superintendent or the Environmental Manager, will ensure that company activities are conducted in accordance with company requirements and in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and licenses. Will conduct all activities in a safe manner and align performance and daily functions to reflect Company values.

The Environmental Engineer assists the Environmental Department with a variety of daily assignments and projects. Projects would include working on Refinery compliance aspects in the air, waste, or water disciplines. These projects would include maintenance vent process verification, fence line monitor sampling, groundwater monitoring, reviewing regulations and facility information relevant to projects, assisting in the preparation of reports such as writing technical evaluations or preparing data summary tables and spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned.
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing environmental programs and procedures to follow regulatory requirements and to meet Operational and Corporate objectives. The person in this position is vital to maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or orders and to provide efficient, technically sound solutions to environmental problems. Activities, responsibilities, and services of this position are applicable to Comapny Operations site-wide. This position must help support and handle the implementation of all environmental standards and protocols in order to achieve a major environmental incident free workplace in an exciting business environment.
The Environmental Engineer will execute the daily functions of the environmental compliance plan for our Company. The Environmental Engineer will be accountable for ensuring the environmental plan and activities reduce exposure, eliminate incidents, and are performed within external regulatory requirements and internal management guidelines.
An Environmental Engineer conducts all the required activities needed to maintain facility in compliance through activities including but not limited to engineering and implementing specific actions to attain, maintain and/or improve environmental compliance status of the facility. The main responsibility is to eradicate all kinds of environmental issues and assure compliance with all the Water and Air Environmental Regulations and Corporate Requirements.
The Environmental Engineer provides field-based management support and guidance to ensure compliance with Environmental Plans and Permits. Additionally, the role will monitor and report environmental performance.
