A Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering (preferred) or environmental science. A Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline (e.g., mining, metallurgical, or civil engineering) or scientific discipline (e.g., geology, chemistry, or hydrology, etc.) will be considered.
Three years’ work experience in the mining industry preferred, or a new graduate with work/intern experience.

Job summary 2

The Environmental Engineer assists the Environmental Department with a variety of daily assignments and projects. Projects would include working on Refinery compliance aspects in the air, waste, or water disciplines. These projects would include maintenance vent process verification, fence line monitor sampling, groundwater monitoring, reviewing regulations and facility information relevant to projects, assisting in the preparation of reports such as writing technical evaluations or preparing data summary tables and spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned.
