This position will provide highly skilled electro- mechanical design and design documentation technical support and project leadership with or without the assistance of mechanical or electrical engineers working in the areas of research, product design and development, product testing and manufacturing process improvement.

Capable of completing design tasks based on knowledge of the product parameters or design requirements and with minimal involvement of the project engineer.
Capable of performing tasks involving product collateral support in the fabrication/manufacturing areas and have the knowledge and understanding to provide design change and documentation revision system support with minimal involvement or assistance required from the Mechanical or Electrical Project Engineers.

The primary duty of the Mechanical Designer is to provide basic mechanical design and engineering support for our Products such as low and medium voltage distributed energy resources (DERs) manufactured at our facilities. This position will assist the overall team to meet the departmental mission of providing quality, timely, and safe designs and deliverables to all our customers.
