Your schedule
12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with every other weekend off.
What you’ll handle
- Operate extrusion/thermoforming machinery at or above standards for waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
- Diagnose and correct machine-related issues through precise adjustments.
- Perform in-process inspections, identify defects, and take corrective actions immediately.
- Offer practical, innovative ideas to resolve production issues.
- Support less experienced personnel with coaching and best practices.
- Complete end-of-shift paperwork: crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.
- Maintain housekeeping and follow all safety and standard work procedures.
What you’ll bring
- 1+ year as an Extrusion Machine Operator in manufacturing; thermoforming background a plus.
- Comfort with a 12-hour rotating schedule including every other weekend.
- Dependability—arrive early and be ready to start on time.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving/troubleshooting on extrusion equipment.
- Effective communication and meticulous, on-time recordkeeping.
- Analytical ability and solid math skills.
- Experience with quality checks and production measurement tools; knowledge of product quality standards.
- Willingness to wear required PPE: hairnets, beard-nets, steel-toed shoes/boots, ear protection, bump caps.
- Manual dexterity.
