Equipment Reliability Technician – Electromechanical Systems

What you'll tackle

  • Rapidly troubleshoot and repair production equipment to limit downtime.
  • Use schematics, diagrams, OEM manuals, and engineering documentation to guide work.
  • Complete line audits on the schedule provided and act on findings.
  • Coach operators on routine PM techniques and monitor adherence to reduce stoppages.
  • Weigh in on the effectiveness of PM routines and suggest schedule adjustments.
  • Propose improvements that enhance equipment safety and performance.
  • Enter precise, complete work orders in the CMMS.
  • Dismantle and replace faulty parts safely using hoists, lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools; examine the condition of removed parts.
  • Measure components with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other gauges; determine dimensional changes and next steps.
  • Use maintenance supplies and equipment responsibly to finish assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to OSHA, federal, local, and site safety standards during all maintenance and repair work.
  • Report likely failure causes; participate in or request investigations to define root causes.
  • Champion a safe workplace by following all facility safety procedures.
  • Support PPE requirements for team members and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
  • Technical curiosity and resilience when the answer isn’t obvious.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Foundational knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Comfortable and proficient with power tools.
  • Strong judgment and timely decision-making.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and detail-focused.
  • Industrial manufacturing exposure is a plus.
