Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification.
- Fabricates parts not commercially available,
- Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.
- Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers.
- Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
- Maintains excellent safety record.
- Maintains an excellent attendance record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Intermediate computer knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
- PLC ladder diagram reading.
- Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
- At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics.
- At least three (3) years of experience in controls.
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
- A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
- Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
- Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
- Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
