Turn complex prints into flawless parts by mastering Swiss-style and multi-axis CNC lathes. From setup through inspection, you will safeguard quality, hit takt times, and keep production flowing to spec.
How you’ll make an impact
Own the operation and upkeep of CNC Swiss-style lathes—20’s, 32’s, 38`s, NTY3’s, Hanwha, and Hardinge—plus finish machines, hand tools, fixtures, and jigs.
Execute production runs in full alignment with established procedures and guidelines.
Translate blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and instructions into accurate setups using the correct tooling and offsets.
Perform part setups per blueprints and set-up sheets to ensure repeatability and throughput.
Conduct AQL-based inspections with calipers, micrometers, height stands, Micro-Vu, Keyence, optical comparator, and VICI measurement tools per work instructions.
Tackle dimensional deviations immediately, and approve setups performed by other operators to keep quality on track.
Track every piece: maintain exact counts of completed and scrapped parts, complete production paperwork, and enter data into the company database.
Remove burrs wherever specified to meet finish requirements.
Make timely machine adjustments and tool changes to hold tolerance and optimize cycle times.
Use the Visual Labor Entry system to interface with and monitor work orders.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Support the team with all other duties as assigned.
