Location: Schaumburg, IL 60173 | Direct Hire

Pay: $65,000 – $90,000/year | Shift: 1st, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm

Core Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test high-speed CNC spindles
  • Perform precision machining using a manual lathe and grinder
  • Measure and verify with micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, and dynamic balancing equipment
  • Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions to return units to spec
  • Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical/mechanical schematics
  • Maintain clear, accurate repair documentation and coordinate status with engineering and customer service
  • Support occasional short-notice field service travel, including overnight and weekend trips

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years in CNC spindle repair, industrial maintenance, or precision mechanical roles
  • Hands-on proficiency with micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, and dynamic balancing tools
  • Manual lathe and grinding experience
  • Blueprint, manual, and diagram literacy
  • Willingness to travel on short notice, including nights/weekends as needed
  • Solid documentation habits and computer literacy
  • Self-motivated, detail-focused, quality-driven

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial or Systems Engineering
  • CNC machine operation and basic G-code programming
  • Experience partnering with engineering and customer service teams

Compensation & Schedule

  • $65,000 – $90,000 per year, based on experience
  • 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm

Eligibility Requirement

Hands-on spindle repair or precision mechanical experience is required. Purely theoretical or software-only profiles will not be considered.
