Purchasing Clerk

Aegis is currently partnering with a local manufacturing company in Elgin to identify a Purchasing Clerk to join their growing team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and services to meet production schedules.
  • Manage full purchase order lifecycle within an ERP system—from creation to receipt to reconciliation.
  • Verify that all purchased materials meet required tolerances and expiration guidelines.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Independently prioritizing daily purchasing tasks.
  • Ensuring materials arrive on time and within spec.
  • Maintaining error‐free PO documentation from start to finish.

Requirments:

  • 1+ year of procurement or purchasing experience.
  • Hands‐on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamics, Fishbowl, etc.).
  • Experience creating POs, receiving goods, reconciling invoices, and tracking lots/expirations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
