Lead Press Operator

Aegis is partnered with a high-end print and packaging manufacturer that produces premium materials for consumer and retail brands. This organization has recently invested in new equipment and is continuing to grow under new ownership, creating a strong opportunity for experienced press operators.

They are seeking a Lead Press Operator to oversee second shift press operations within a high-quality, technically advanced printing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Heidelberg or Komori presses
• Perform make-ready and ensure print quality and color accuracy
• Troubleshoot press and production issues
• Lead press operations and support press crew
• Monitor production efficiency and workflow
• Interpret job tickets and ensure proper execution
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Enter production data into systems

Requirements:

• Experience with Heidelberg or Komori presses
• UV printing and coating experience
• Experience running 6+ color presses
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Leadership experience within a pressroom environment

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• Sheet Fed Offset Printing

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Large Format Printing Equipment (Komori)
