About the role
Assume the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the department, including coordinating truck and trailer deliveries with the sales team and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
Proactively monitor inventory levels, minimizing both stockouts and excess inventory.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize ordering patterns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items (parts, supplies, trailers) within the company's inventory management system.
Develop and implement efficient data entry procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
Manage the day-to-day logistics of truck and trailer deliveries, ensuring on-time delivery and that all vehicles are fully equipped and meet safety standards before departure.
Coordinate with Sales Teams to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
Monitor delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Degree in Administration, Logistics or related field.
Specific knowledge in Supply Chain concepts and understand the principles of the supply chain.
Understand KPIs.
Proactive, good communication skills and team-working skills.
Extracurricular courses: stock management, international logistics and project management - is a plus.
Post-graduation/MBD in Supply Chain management, logistics and related fields - is a plus.
