Bench Electronics Assembler, Through‑Hole Focus

Do you have a steady hand, a sharp eye, and a passion for getting the details right? Imagine starting your day at a well‑organized bench, microscope at the ready, transforming components and connectors into reliable subassemblies that keep our products performing flawlessly.

Compensation & Schedule: $20.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (First shift)

In this role, you will:

  • Handle fine through‑hole soldering and precise wiring under a microscope.
  • Build electronic assemblies, including connectors, hardware, and subassemblies.
  • Operate assembly tools, fixtures, benches, and machinery with care.
  • Inspect work, clean assemblies, perform touch‑ups, and rework when needed.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, and production docs.
  • Measure and record product data as requested.
  • Meet established quality standards and daily production objectives.
  • Keep your station neat and safe while following all quality and safety procedures.
  • Pitch in on training and collaborate to achieve team goals.

You’re a great fit if you have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in assembly or manufacturing (preferred).
  • Microscope proficiency; ability to read blueprints is a plus.
  • Excellent hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
  • Confidence following both written and verbal instructions.
  • Clear communication and a team‑first mindset.

What to expect day‑to‑day

  • A fast‑moving production environment.
  • Repetitive hand motions typical of precision bench work.
  • Mainly seated tasks with occasional standing, reaching, bending, and twisting.
  • Frequent microscope use and work with precision tools.
  • Potential exposure to manufacturing chemicals and solvents.

Requirements to start

  • Ability to pass a visual acuity test (20/20 corrected or uncorrected) and color vision screening.
  • IPC‑A‑610 certification may be required in certain production areas.
  • Proven ability to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
