Handheld Scanner & Industrial Systems Repair Specialist

• Do you enjoy fixing machines and leaving them better than you found them?
• Are you the person others call when a handheld UPS scanner won’t cooperate?
• Do you like variety—one hour ordering parts, the next rebuilding a mechanical assembly?

What you’ll do

• Keep mechanical equipment and components in peak condition through routine service and repair.
• Pinpoint failing parts, source replacements, and submit accurate orders to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair UPS scanners and similar handheld devices.
• Build versatility by cross-training on a range of equipment models.
• Pitch in with overtime to support the wider facility when demand spikes.

When and how you’ll work

• 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Weekly salary pay, plus benefits

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required; added technical coursework or an apprenticeship is a bonus.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with mechanical systems and repair best practices; able to operate independently and use good judgment.
