The Senior Controller will oversee Billor’s financial operations and play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s mission and growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Controller will manage all financial aspects of our three business units, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and forward-thinking strategies.
Responsibilities
Take a hands-on approach to all financial operations, including bookkeeping, monthly close processes, and reporting.
Lead the development of internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board.
Lead external auditing process for every fiscal year.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow strategies.
Manage AP/AR functions and provide guidance on cash flow strategies.
Lead all FP&A initiatives
Collaborate with CPA firms and oversee consulting engagements.
Drive the financial strategy of all three business units, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
Prepare the company for future scalability.
Requirements
5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within FinTech or micro-lending.
CPA certification or equivalent accounting experience.
Strong expertise in hands-on financial operations.
Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite.
Proven ability to manage financial operations for a high-growth company.
International experience in financial operations.
Knowledge of transportation or hard asset industries.
Tech-savvy, with experience in software and tech-based solutions.
Treasury management expertise and familiarity with rapidly growing companies.
