Summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for providing direction, guidance and leadership to the marketing department. The Marketing Director also oversees all execution of marketing initiatives including advertising, campaigns, sales promotion, in store events, visual, and vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with vendor partnerships on developing and executing annual co-op plans and budgets, and oversee all marketing initiatives and events.
- Tightly manage budgets and forecasts, provide analysis of costs and ROI projections and actuals.
- Manage 3rd party providers and partners, ie. Creative agency, printers, media, contractors, logistics, etc.
- Oversee marketing support and planning of trunk shows, pop up shops, opening and closing of locations, etc.
- Manage all financial reconciliation and accounting process requirements.
- Develop and execute all sales promotion calendar, cadence of events and advertising including email and direct marketing.
- Negotiate all marketing related contracts.
Requirements
- Strong marketing operational and analytical skills.
- Project Management skills with high degree of attention to detail.
- Financial planning, forecasting and budget experience.
- Experience with collaborative vendor partnerships including the management of co-op programs.
- BA or Marketing degree preferred.
