We are seeking an experienced OneTrust Support Specialist to provide functional and technical support for the OneTrust platform and serve as a key resource for platform administration, configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, and operational support. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, resolving incidents, managing configurations and workflows, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring the OneTrust platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with privacy and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, privacy teams, application support teams, and vendors to maintain and enhance OneTrust capabilities while ensuring efficient delivery of support services. The ideal candidate is a hands-on OneTrust professional with strong administration, workflow configuration, integration, API, and troubleshooting experience.
OneTrust Administration & Support
- Provide technical and functional support for the OneTrust platform.
- Perform user and access management activities within OneTrust.
- Create, archive, and maintain records within the platform.
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and operational support activities assigned through the ticketing system.
- Act as an escalation point for complex platform and support issues.
Configuration & Workflow Management
- Configure and customize OneTrust modules to support business and compliance requirements.
- Manage automation rules, custom attributes, assessment templates, and workflow configurations.
- Configure assessment task rules and automated actions.
- Support platform enhancements, workflow improvements, and process optimization initiatives.
- Implement workflow monitoring and error-handling controls where applicable.
Integration Support & Troubleshooting
- Manage and support integrations between OneTrust and external systems such as SAP Ariba.
- Troubleshoot API, authentication, credential, and data transfer issues.
- Diagnose and resolve JSON-related errors impacting integrations and workflows.
- Analyze application, workflow, and integration logs to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Validate payload structures, field mappings, and data quality to ensure successful integrations.
- Utilize OneTrust workflow and integration tools to troubleshoot workflow logic and processing failures.
Reporting & Operational Support
- Assist with configuration and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Support monitoring activities to ensure platform stability and availability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Privacy, TPRM, Cyber, and Application Support teams to resolve platform issues and implement enhancements.
- Coordinate with vendors and technical teams on support escalations, defects, and integration requirements.
- Stay informed on OneTrust product updates, new features, and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in application support, privacy platforms, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) technologies.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting OneTrust.
Desired – Technical Experience
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting OneTrust.
- Experience configuring workflows, automation rules, forms, assessments, and system settings.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
Integration & API Expertise
- Experience supporting REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong understanding of JSON payloads, field mappings, and API communications.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve integration and workflow-related issues.
- Experience analyzing logs and debugging application workflows.
Compliance & Platform Knowledge
- Working knowledge of privacy and compliance requirements such as CCPA and GDPR.
- Experience supporting privacy and compliance platforms in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance processes.

- Relevant OneTrust certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms.
