A day in this role

When you start your shift, you’ll jump right into the flow of our warehouse operations. You’ll receive and unload deliveries, carefully inspect products for damage or discrepancies, and stage materials for storage. As orders come in, you’ll pick with precision, pack securely, label accurately, and prepare shipments for on-time departure. Between orders, you’ll help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, update records, and keep aisles organized. You’ll operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and, if certified, forklifts, while following OSHA and company safety guidelines. Throughout the day, you’ll pitch in with other warehouse tasks to keep everything moving safely and efficiently.

Core responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming freight
  • Inspect deliveries; document and report any damage or discrepancies
  • Pick, pack, label, and stage outbound orders with high accuracy
  • Tag and document inventory; assist with routine cycle counts
  • Place products in designated locations; maintain organized storage areas
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
  • Uphold OSHA and company safety rules; maintain a clean work area
  • Support general warehouse duties as needed

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying
  • Regular use of warehouse machinery and equipment

Qualifications

Required – High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
  • Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift
  • Basic math and reading competency
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
  • Works well independently and within a team

Preferred – Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Familiarity with handheld scanners
