As a Precision Slitting Machine Technician, you’ll begin each shift preparing your station, reviewing production schedules, and setting up equipment so the line is ready to run safely and efficiently. You’ll load raw material, dial in settings, and watch performance indicators to keep output on target and products within spec. When something drifts, you’ll make measured adjustments or minor fixes to maintain quality and uptime—looping in maintenance for larger issues and pitching in during repairs.
Throughout the day, you’ll move between stations as needed, collaborate with your supervisor and teammates to hit daily goals, and document output and quality checks. You’ll keep your area neat and hazard‑free, and you’ll participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities that reduce waste and elevate performance.
