Senior Software Integration Engineer
Caddis Solutions is a Maryland-based engineering company supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of War and Intelligence Community. Our engineers solve challenging technical problems across software, cloud, SI/ML, data, and systems engineering.
Explore how the pieces of a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment fit together, and help them operate reliably as a whole. You’ll combine software integration, scripting, and structured troubleshooting across UNIX, Linux, and Windows, supporting the computing systems that people rely on to get their work done.
Where you’ll contribute
- Take software through its operational lifecycle. Install, configure, integrate, compile, upgrade, and troubleshoot commercial and government off-the-shelf software (COTS and GOTS).
- Work across connected infrastructure. Support software on HPC servers and clusters and across schedulers, storage, networking, and specialized processing environments.
- Use code to make support repeatable. Apply Linux shell scripting, Python, configuration management, and object-oriented programming in languages such as C, C++, or Java.
- Understand the interactions behind a problem. Investigate components systematically and troubleshoot their connections to restore reliable operation.
Relevant experience may include Slurm, Lustre, VMware, Salt, NVIDIA, InfiniBand, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, WEKA, Juniper, or Arista. Familiarity with these technologies is valuable across different parts of the environment, and gives us a starting point for discussing the experience you bring.
Experience and education
This role requires at least 8 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, or 13 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
