Finisher / Paint - Woodworking

Fargo Woodworks builds custom commercial furniture for executive offices, boardrooms and high-end hospitality spaces, held to the standard of brands like Restoration Hardware and Arhaus. Finishing is the last step the customer sees and touches. It's where the work becomes a product.

This role is about applying great finishes and managing dry time so work is always moving. We train the right person, so we care most about attention to detail, pride and reliability.

What you'll do:

- Apply stains, sealers, topcoats and paint, by spray and by hand

- Run UV, non-UV and multi-day paint and cabinet finishes, planning around dry time

- Keep work always moving: something active, something drying, something staged and ready

- Batch and paint steel table legs and bases by color to keep output high

- Sand between coats, then buff and rub out to the final sheen

- Coordinate with sanding, metal fab and shipping so nothing is a surprise

- Inspect every piece before it moves: clean, consistent and complete

What we're looking for:

- A real eye for detail. This is the make-or-break trait

- Good with your hands and proud of the final product

- Reliable and on time, day in and day out

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift

- Able to wear a respirator and follow finish-room safety

A plus, not required:

- Spray finishing experience (wood, cabinetry or auto body)

- Experience with UV, conversion varnish, lacquer or 2K finishes

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, plus overtime when needed.

Pay: $20-$25/hr depending on experience

Benefits: Health insurance and paid time off.

Our standard: Clean. Consistent. Complete. If it's not right, it doesn't move.
