A Day in the Life
When your shift begins, you take ownership of a servo-driven narrow-web flexographic digital hybrid press and guide it through a full night of production. You review the job ticket, verify materials, and bring the press to spec—loading substrate, installing tooling, mounting plates, dialing in print impression, and locking in registration. You fine-tune ink laydown, speed, and dryer settings to hit color and quality targets. As labels move through the die station, you convert them to crisp, prime-ready pieces. If a print issue surfaces, you diagnose quickly and adjust to keep uptime high and waste low. Oiling, cleaning, and minor repairs are part of your rhythm, ensuring the equipment is ready for the next job. By morning, you’ve crafted labels you’re proud to sign your name to.

What You'll Do
- Run a Flexo/Digital Hybrid press to meet job specifications and quality standards.
- Set up for printing and die-cutting from start to finish.
- Load substrates, install tooling, mount plates, set impression, and calibrate press parameters.
- Confirm substrate, inks, and tooling meet required specifications before and during runs.
- Adjust ink distribution, line speed, and dryer temperature for optimal results.
- Troubleshoot print and registration issues rapidly to reduce downtime and scrap.
- Perform routine maintenance: oiling, cleaning, and minor mechanical adjustments.
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience on servo-driven narrow-web presses such as Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, or Omet.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and outstanding print quality.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform the demands of press operation.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
