Regional CDL-A Truck Driver - Home Weekly Reset
10-4 Logistics USA is hiring CDL-A regional drivers for a Northeast fleet based in the Hartford, Connecticut area. The position offers consistent weekly home time, mileage-based pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers typically transport regional freight from Northern North Carolina through Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio, with home time on Saturday and Sunday.
- $4,000 sign-on bonus
- $0.80–$0.85 per mile
- Home Saturday and Sunday for a 34-hour reset
- Average of 1,500 miles per week, depending on hours and freight availability
- Average length of haul of approximately 400 miles
- Up to a $0.03 per-mile performance bonus based on safety, mileage, and productivity
- Additional stop pay, detention pay, and Long Island delivery pay
- 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractors

Top regional drivers on this fleet earn up to $1,850 per week. Additional pay includes $20 for the first stop, $35 for the second stop, $50 for the third stop and each subsequent stop, $65 for Long Island deliveries, and $12.50 per hour in detention pay after two hours.
Lane Details
Drivers handle a mix of live loads and preloaded trailers across the Northeast regional network. The operating area generally extends from Virginia to Maine, with typical freight moving from Northern North Carolina through Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio. Occasional routes outside the primary service area may be assigned to help maximize miles while maintaining weekly reset time.
Drivers who choose to remain on the road instead of returning home for their reset may be able to run additional weekend freight for extra miles and pay. A willingness to drive in New York City is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least three months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
