About the Role (title, high level expectations/impact, reporting into, department):
Right now we operate three owned brands websites:
COAR
DoS
GooD Habit
We will also launch another website for Sanctuary next year. When we launched these websites we outsourced their development to the 3rd party vendor. Right now we have a need of constant a/b testing, improvement and new feature development for all of these websites. So now it makes sense to have a dedicated team that can deliver that fast. For that team we need a developer who can actually code all the tasks.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Manage the company's e-commerce websites
In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform and the out of the box capabilities and components
Act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the ecommerce platform.
Keep up to date with the business domain and work closely with business stakeholders
Ensure our solutions addresses the business needs of the business sponsors / leaders
Adhere to business requirements and provide on time deliveries
Plan and execute various aspects of projects not only bound to but beyond Shopify boundaries.
Understand Shopify architecture, various apps and can act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the ecommerce platform.
Has worked on multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level of complexity especially on Ecommerce platform
Generate custom - tailored Shopify theme and altering pre - existing template.
Act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the ecommerce platform.

What You’ll Need to Have (required qualifications):
Someone with 3-5 years experience building web applications with Shopify
Experience with modern CSS styling including Sass, flexbox, CSS Grids, and BEM
Great communicator who isn’t afraid to ask for requirements clarification, coding help, and code reviews.
Experience with tooling such as webpack, gulp, vim, npm, yarn.
Experience with version control systems like git
Capable of converting static design files into landing pages
A self-starter who also thrives in a collaborative environment
Nice to have:
Understanding of the Shopify ecosystem including plugins
Experience with javascript frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue
Experience applying ADA best practices
Preference of command-line interfaces over graphical
Experience sharing css between multiple projects
Experience working in open source community and contributing changes
