Industrial Electromechanical Reliability Technician (Fiber Optics)

Step into a day as our Electromechanical pro at the Claremont Fiber Plant

You clock in for a 12-hour shift (2-2-3 Rotating, EOWEO) and start by reviewing overnight logs in SAP, prioritizing preventive jobs alongside urgent calls. A line is down—an HMI flags a controls fault. You isolate energy sources (LOTO), trace the issue through the motor control center, validate signals with your meter and oscilloscope, and bring the system back online. Before the shift ends, you update activity reports, verify spare parts levels, and join a toolbox talk to reinforce safe work practices.
