Tool Crib Attendant

Nelson Numeric is looking for a detail-oriented pro to take ownership of the most important "store" in our building: The Tool Crib Attendant

Forget "warehouse" work. We need a Technical Pro to run the "Tool Crib" of our shop. You’ll own the Tooling & Resource Center, ensuring our machinists have the high-performance tools and precision gages they need to hit aerospace tolerances.

Perfect for you if:

• The Auto Parts Pro: You’re a wizard at looking up technical specs and managing complex catalogs.
• The CNC Machinist: You know the tools, but you're ready to step away from the machine and into a technical logistics/leadership role.
• The Detail Obsessive: You understand the difference between .001" and .0001".

What You’ll Do

• Run the "Shop Store": Manage the storefront where machinists get their gear.
• Precision Prep: Build and verify "Job Kits" (tooling + gaging) against setup sheets.
• Inventory Mastery: Use CribMaster to track high-value assets with clinical accuracy.

What You Bring

• 1–3 years in a CNC environment, technical trade, or high-end auto parts counter.
• Computer Savvy: Comfortable with inventory software and digital tracking.
• People Skills: You’re approachable, professional, and love supporting a team.
• Technical Fluency and a Precision Mindset
